OBJECTIVES 
„The International Governance Olympiad" is proposing to stimulate and harness the imagination and creativity of the most talented students in the study areas of governance, social sciences, communication and so on, focusing on social innovation and governance reform thus creating the premises for a sustainable development of the society.

THEME
The contest will have as subject the disciplines studied in the field mentioned above but not only, being sequenced on two levels: bachelor and master. Participants will be asked to write in the form of an essay/research work the answer to one of the current issues faced by public administrations.

PUBLICATION
The best research papers/essays will be published in a section dedicated to „The International Governance Olympics” in the volume of „The Smart Cities" Conference 2019, 7th edition.

WHAT DOES THE CONTEST INVOLVE?
The students enrolled in the competition will receive, in electronic format, study materials from the government area.
The study time they will have at their disposal is about a month.
The purpose of the contest is to develop an essay/research work in accordance with academic standards – the template of the final paper work is available here.

For the evaluation, the enrolled students will send the final paper no later than the deadline to the e-mail address: vrabie.catalin@gmail.com.

The two files together with a short presentation of the candidate will be sent to the e-mail address mentioned above with the subject „The International Governance Olympics 2019”

STARTING THE CONTEST
On April 15, 2019 will be sent the study materials on which the essay/research paper will be elaborated.
