Academic Integrity and Professional Standards
The Faculty of Public Administration bases all of its activities on the values of integrity and responsibility, strictly adhering to the SNSPA Code of Ethics and Academic Conduct. This document serves as the essential framework governing the professional conduct of members of our academic community, ensuring an environment based on intellectual honesty, transparency, and mutual respect.
A central pillar of our professional conduct is the protection of intellectual property. In this regard, compliance with copyright laws is mandatory in all forms of teaching and research. The faculty promotes high standards of academic rigor, emphasizing:
- Originality and Authenticity: the proper use of information sources and the avoidance of any form of plagiarism.
- Legal Compliance: aligning activities with the standards established by Romanian Copyright Office (ORDA), ensuring that teaching materials and scholarly works are prepared in full compliance with the laws governing copyright and related rights.
- Applied Ethics: ongoing training for students and researchers on best practices for citation and the ethical use of educational resources.
By adhering to these principles, we ensure that academic excellence is matched by impeccable moral conduct, thereby strengthening our institution’s prestige within the national and international academic community.
